Crionics

Crionics is a Polish black and death metal band from Krakow. Formed in 1997, the band has a total of three studio albums, two EPs and a demo. The group separates in 2011.

The group was formed in 1997 in Krakow on the initiative of guitarist and singer Michała "Warana" Skotniczego, guitarist Dariusza Styczeń, bassist Markus "Marcotic" Kopa, and drummer Macieja "Carola" Zięby >>>. Their first demo is called Demo '98>. A year later, they are joined by keyboardist Wacław "Vac-v" Borowiec>. In the second half of 1999, Styczeń leaves and is replaced by Bartosz "Bielmo" Bielewicz>. They then publish the demo Beyond the Blazing Horizon, in the form of an EP in 2000 at the label Demonic Records>.

At the end of 2000, the band broke up with drummer Zięba, and was looking for a replacement for several months, which turned out to be Maciej "Darkside" Kowalski>.

In August 2001, the band separated from the guitarist Bielewicz>. In 2002, the band began recording their first studio album at Hertz Studio. The album, titled Human Error: Ways To Self Destruction, is released on November 25, 2002 at Empire Records. For the promotion of the album, the group takes part in an international tour called Here and Beyond Polish Tour with Behemoth, Darkane and Frontside groups. They finish their tour at Metalmania, Hellfest and Metal Inferno. Their first album reached fourth place in a poll by Metal Hammer magazine. At the end of the year, the group signed to the British label Candlelight Records, which will publish their next albums internationally>.

Their debut album is released worldwide on March 25, 2004>. Meanwhile, the band starts recording their second studio album, Armageddon's Evolution. In July 2004, the guitar parts are recorded at the Lynx Studio in Krakow, and the rest is made at Hertz Studio. During the session, the group separates from Kowalski. In October the same year, the band participated in 17 concert dates on the Blitzkrieg II tour with Vader, Lost Soul and CETI, during which Destroyer made his debut in the band>. In 2005, they play in Europe>.
