Crucified Barbara is an old band (or girls band ) of Swedish heavy metal from Stockholm. Composed of Mia Coldheart, Klara Force, Ida Evileye and Nicki Wicked, this quartet produces music described as a mix of heavy metal, thrash metal and hard rock. The group announced its separation on its Facebook page on June 14, 2016.
Ida Evileye and Klara Force play together for the first time in the mid-1990s, when they are only fourteen years old. After a stint in a hard rock band, Nicki Wicked joins them. The arrival of Joey Nine in 1998 freezes the formation: Joey on vocals, Ida on bass, Klara on guitar and Nicki on drums. The music produced is akin to punk rock.

They adopt the name of Crucified Barbara at the Roskilde Festival inspired by an inflatable doll (barbara in Swedish) perched on a cross. Joey's departure in 2003 pushes Mia to try singing. The band's sound is also evolving towards a more metal style. Thanks to the GMR Music label, the first recordings take place in the spring of 2004 at Pama studios in Kristianopel, Sweden.
