De palmas

Gérald Gardrinier , known as De Palmas , is a French pop rock singer-songwriter, born October 14, 1967 in Saint-Denis de La Réunion.

Gérald Gardrinier was born from a Breton father, a surveyor by profession and a Reunionese mother, a teacher of French. He chose for stage name that of his maternal grandmother, Roxane de Palmas.

He was ten when his parents left Reunion to settle in Aix-en-Provence.

At thirteen, Gérald discovered ska and became passionate about music. He learns to play bass and is inspired, for rhythm, his favorite group: Level 42>.
