DEATHGAZE ( lang = "ja"> / span> ) (all uppercase since Ai is singer) is a Japanese extreme metal band. The riffs of guitars are percussive, the battery completely crazy, a very good bass line and a singer with the voice guturalle but who sometimes knows very well "to sing" normally when the music authorizes it. The music of DEATHGAZE is mostly composed of very "fit inside" but Ai (bassist and leader of the group) can also compose songs almost calm, closer to visual kei than metal usually practiced by the group.
Deathgaze was formed in the summer of 2003 by Hazuki, Ai, Naoki, and Kanna. In 2007, Sou left the group and was eventually replaced by Ai , bassist of the group, who left his place as a free bassist. The band then renamed "DEATHGAZE" and auditioned to find a new bassist. In March 2008, Kosuke takes the place of Ai . Naoto left the band on April 26, 2009 (at the end of the "Evoke the Real World" tour) for personal reasons and Takaki (eg ASS'n'ARROW) became an official member in November 2009 after having been a session member for some time.
