Deluxe is a French electro pop band formed in 2007, from Aix-en-Provence, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Their musical style has hip-hop, soul, funk, jazz and groove accents.

Deluxe is originally composed of six musician friends. Kaya (bass) and Kilo (drums) are the first to meet. They are six when they start playing music together. In college, they cross the road of Pietre (guitar / piano), and the idea of forming a group is born. All three self-taught, they practice by taking songs from a variety of musical genres, ranging from Matthieu Chedid to Supertramp, through Keziah Jones. It is in high school that they meet Pepé (saxophone) and Soubri (percussion), who complete the instrumental part of the project. The group will meet the public: first in the streets of Aix-en-Provence, then in bars, restaurants, nightclubs, receptions, weddings and works councils.

In 2009, they decided to enter the Class'EuRock contest, organized by the Aix'Qui association, and won the first place. The same year, while the group plays as usual on the course Mirabeau, Deluxe is spotted by Zé Matéo, a member of the group Chinese Man who offers to send a model to his label. Shortly after, they meet Liliboy during a concert at the School of Fine Arts where she was a student. Together, they record a first song, Pony, which will become one of the flagship titles of the group, then a first EP (six titles) they sign under the label Chinese Man Records.
