Dew-Scented is a German thrash and death metal band from Braunschweig, Lower Saxony. Formed in 1992, this band currently has a demo, and ten studio albums to his credit. The titles of their albums have the distinction of starting with the letter I.
Dew-Scented was formed in 1992 by singer Leif Jensen, who was joined by drummer Uwe Werning in 1997, and by guitarist Hendrik Bache in autumn 2001.
In the winter of 1992/93, the band recorded and published their first demo, "Symbolization" , well known in the underground scene, which helped them to sign in SPV / Steamhammer label. In spring 1996 comes out Immortal , the band's first album. The band is touring in support of the album with Edge of Sanity, Lake of Tears and Sadist. Because of its popularization, the group begins to change training. They signed in 1998 to Grind Syndicate Media / NBR, to which they published their second album "Innoscent" . The same year, they play for the first time at Wacken Open Air>. In the summer of 1999, they published Ill-Natured , which is a mix of death and thrash metal. Two years later, it follows the album Inwards , on which Andy Classen participates. In support of the album, they play in several festivals and with thrash metal legends like Kreator, Sodom and Destruction. For the first time, they are filming in the United States.
The release in 2003 of the album Impact and the double-album Ill- Natured and Innoscent , published on the Nuclear Blast label, officially made Dew-Scented a popular thrash metal band, greatly compared to Slayer >>>>>. Issue VI , their sixth album, is released in June 2005. The limited edition of the album includes a video of the song Turn to Ash and 17 live songs, recorded between 2002 and 2005. On March 30, 2007, the album Incinerate is published in Europe and on April 3, 2007 in North America.
