Dima bilan

Dima Bilan (Дима Билан), born Victor Nikolaevich Belan in Oust-Djegouta on December 24, 1981, is a Russian singer.

Dima lived in Karachay-Cherkessia (then in the Soviet Union). At the age of six, his family moved to the city of Maïski (in Kabardino-Balkaria), where at school he already enjoyed reciting poems and singing. This young author is already well known in his country, although he is one of the youngest singers in Russia.

After a career already started in the song, he finished 2> Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with the song Never Let You Go, behind the band Lordi winning for Finland.

On March 9, 2008, he was again selected to represent Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest, held in Belgrade, Serbia, on May 24, 2008. On the Eurovision Song Contest, he performed the song Believe, which he co-wrote and also composed with Jim Beanz. His stage performance is enhanced by the presence of Russian, European, World Champion and 2006 Olympic figure skating champion Evgeni Plushenko and violinist Edvin Marton. Dima won the competition, scoring 272 points, beating Ukraine, Greece, Armenia and Norway respectively.
