Edenbridge is an Austrian symphonic metal band, with a neoclassical metal sound in some songs. Their musical style is characterized by very airy sounds and a meowing and rhythmic guitar most often used in its clear.
Edenbridge was formed in 1998 by guitarist and keyboardist Lanvall, his girlfriend and singer Sabine Edelsbacher, and bassist Kurt Bednarsky. The line-up is completed with the drummer Roland Navratil who joins the group. Edenbridge gets to work quickly, and records in the studio in 1999, having signed to record label Massacre Records the same year. In the autumn of the following year, their first album entitled "Sunrise in Eden" is published.
The group adds a second guitarist, Georg Edelmann, to his training in February 2000, but his stay in the band is only short-lived. After leaving the group in January 2001, he was replaced by Andreas Eiblar. Under this training, Edenbridge commercializes the album Arcana (2001). During this period, a new bassist, Frank Bindig, joined the group. In December of the same year, the guitarist Andreas Eibler leaves the group in good terms and is replaced by Martin Mayr.
