Electric Six is a band mixing rock, garage, disco, punk, new wave and heavy metal. Originally from Detroit in the United States, he began to be recognized in 2001 with the single Danger! High Voltage, and subsequently recorded several studio albums.
The band was formed in 1996, and was originally called The Wildbunch. He changed his name to Electric Six, probably because of a conflict with a Detroit trip hop collection with the same name. During the second half of the 1990s, they played regularly at the Old Miami and Gold Dollar in Detroit, at the heart of a musical scene that includes The White Stripes.
The original composition of the group is Dick Valentine (vocals), Indian Rock and Roll (guitar), Surge Joebot (guitar), Disco (bass guitar), and M (drums).
