Endstille

Endstille is a German black metal band from Kiel, in the state of Schleswig-Holstein / Aachen. The group is heavily influenced by the war for their lyrics as well as for their covers.

Endstille was formed in 2000 by Wachtgels (guitarist), Mayhemic Destructor (drummer), Iblis (singer) and Cruor (bassist) in the city of Kiel >>>. Wachtfels and Mayhemic Destructor were previously members of a local group called Tauthr, and Iblis and Cruor from a group called Octoria. Mayhemic Destructor was also a member of a rock and blues band called Overdrive Sensation, under the name Mayhemic Sensation.

Endstille publishes many black metal-oriented albums starting with Operation Wintersturm (2002), Frühlingserwachen (2003) and Dominanz (2004) with the Swedish label Regain Records>. Endstille then publishes in 2005 the album Navigator, pressed to 3 000 copies, with the label Twilight. In August of the same year, 2,000 more are sold>. The album is also released internationally via the Regain Records> label.

In 2009, founding member Iblis left the group. The reasons are not disclosed. He is replaced by singer Zingultus >>>. On June 28, 2010 released their new album Infektion 1813, originally planned for December>. In January 2011, the band signs with a new label, Season of Mist>. Infektion 1813 is published on May 16 in Europe, and May 17 in the United States. In 2013, the band released a new studio album entitled Kapitulation 2013>.
