Enter shikari

Enter Shikari , formerly Hybryd , is a British post-hardcore band from St Albans, Hertfordshire. Formed in 2003, the band consists of Roughton "Rou" Reynolds on vocals and keyboard, Chris "Batty C" Batten on bass and chorus, by Liam "Rory C" Clewlow on guitar and Rob Rolfe on drums.

Surfing on the Myspace wave, Enter Shikari wins a place at the Download Festival 2006, then sold out at the Astoria in London, thus being one of the first bands to hit the web. This one is then confirmed at the exit of the first album Take to the Skies , which ranks at the fourth place of the British charts and is disc of 'gold. The following albums describe the same trajectory: Common Dreads , released in 2009 and since certified silver disc, enters the sixteenth place, Flash Flood of Color (2012), The Mindsweep (2015) and The Spark (2017) are in the top 10 in the first week.

The members of the group are responsible for their own label, Ambush Reality, but have signed with majors to ensure the distribution of their albums around the world. Their style is difficult to describe because there are many musical influences on the same album, and sometimes in the same song. Overall, they represent the cross between post-hardcore, screamo, punk and electro.

In 1999, the group, originally named Hybryd, formed with Reynolds on guitar, Batten on bass and Rolfe on drums. They release a maxi called Commit No Nuisance which includes the songs Perfect Pygmalion and Fake .
