Escape the fate

Escape the Fate is an American post-hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Their debut album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, is released on September 26, 2006 at Epitaph Records. They have a total of three EPs and four studio albums.

Singer Ronnie Radke forms the Escape the Fate group through MySpace with the help of Max Green. They recruit guitarist Bryan "Monte" Money, later accompanied by guitarist Omar Espinosa (formerly a member of the LoveHateHero group) at the beginning of 2005. Robert Ortiz joins them to complete the group. They begin public services a month later and meet a first success on local radio. In October 2005, they won a local radio contest judged by My Chemical Romance, which gave them the opportunity to open one of their tour concerts with Alkaline Trio and Reggie and the Full Effect.

They then sign with Epitaph Records. And they debuted with an EP, There's No Sympathy for the Dead, consisting of five tracks, released in May 2006. The EP is produced by Michael Baskette and helps the group to popularize and attract the interest of the labels. the release of EP, keyboardist Carson Allen leaves the band to join On the Last Day >>>.

The dates of the tour follow each other during the summer, with several dates at the Vans Warped Tour, then the band cancels a tour with Bullet for My Valentine and Eighteen Visions because of personal problems. Radke is suddenly ruled out of the band a few weeks before the release of their first studio album Dying Is Your Latest Fashion, released September 26, 2006. Dying Is Your Latest Fashion reaches the 12> Billboard Heatseekers chart and is 18> Top Independent Albums chart. On November 6, 2006, the group posts a new blog on MySpace stating that Radke is back in the group. Radke also posts a blog on MySpace explaining his absence and describing his new love for life. The band is announced to share the headline of the Take Action Tour, but can not play for reasons unknown, they are replaced by From First to Last>. Omar Espinosa leaves the group during the Black on Black Tour at the end of 2007. He declares on his MySpace that he leaves the group definitively but that his departure is done in good terms.
