Eths

Eths (stylized eths ) is a French deathcore band from Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhone (Provence) region. In its early days, Eths published several maxi CDs, including the most famous Samantha, and finally released his first real album, Soma. The group is often on the road and goes on tour; it occurs in the whole of France as well as in Europe.

The voices of the singers Candice and Rachel are divided between melodic parts and guttural parts. As for the musicians, they try to create a sometimes unhealthy atmosphere with a very heavy sound, sometimes softer and melodic, as in Ailleurs c'est ici or L'instant deaf, which is still in the oppressive atmosphere that characterizes the music. quintet music. The group announces its separation on November 30, 2016 after a last concert on April 5, 2017.

In 1996, Staif and Greg formed the band What's the Fuck. The following year, Candice joined the group and they renamed themselves Melting Point.

The group is a co-founding member (with Tripod, Babylon Pression and Ed Mushi) of the Marseille metal collective Coriace>, created in 1998 to allow regional groups to pool their resources together to make themselves better known.
