Ghinzu

Ghinzu is a Belgian rock band from Brussels. Formed in 1999, the group released Electronic Jacuzzi, their first self-produced album in 2000. In February 2004 released the second album, Blow. After having postponed its release date several times, the band's third album, titled Mirror Mirror, is finally released on March 30, 2009. A new album is announced initially for 2015, but postponed many times.

The name of the group refers to the Ginsu knife brand ("the more you cut, the more it sharpens"). Formed in 1999 in Brussels, the group released Electronic Jacuzzi, its first self-produced album (the Dragoon label was created by and for the band) in 2000.

Two singles came out: Dolly Fisher and Electronic Jacuzzi and the band toured between 2000 and 2002 for around 50 dates. As the concerts go on, thousands of copies are sold in Belgium>.

After a few concerts in the summer of 2003 presenting new songs, the band is signed by the label Bang !. In February 2004 released the second album, Blow. The disc is distributed in France, Switzerland, Germany, and Scandinavia (via the Atmospheric label for France and V2 for Germany and Scandinavia). The cover of the Belgian edition, considered too violent (it shows the singer John Stargasm decapitated holding his head in front of a microphone), is modified in other countries.
