God forbid

God forbid God Forbid is an American heavy metal band from East Brunswick, New Jersey. The group separated in August 2013, after the departure of Doc Coyle>.

Popularized during tours in the late 1990s alongside bands like GWAR, Nile, Cradle of Filth and Candiria, God Forbid's debut album, Reject the Sickness , is released by the 9 Volt Records label in 1999>. The album is frequently aired by the local radio station WSOU-FM in the New York area and the band is then signed with Century Media Records for the release of their album Determination in 2001>. They play during the MTB2 tour with Shadows Fall and Lamb of God. In 2004, they published Gone Forever , accompanied by a performance at Ozzfest that will help them to become better known to the public>. The following year, they published IV: Constitution of Treason , a concept album based on the end of the world>. This is their first album to reach the rank Billboard 200 at the 118> place>. In 2005 and 2006, they played alongside Trivium during their British tour with Mendeed and Bloodsimple >>>. In late 2006 and early 2007, they participate in the Chains of Humanity>.

In 2007, God Forbid's To the Fallen Hero won the Independent Music Award in the category "best rock song / heavy metal ". They released a DVD on June 10, 2008, and their fourth album, "Earthsblood" , is released on February 24, 2009, which reaches span class = "lang-en" lang = "fr"> Billboard 200>. God Forbid goes on an American and Canadian tour during the No Fear Energy Music Tour with Lamb of God, in April. In March 2009, Dallas Coyle left the group>. In April 2010, the group announces the writing of a new album>. The new album is entitled Equilibrium and published on March 26, 2012. Between July 13 and August 28, 2012, God Forbid takes part in class = "lang-en" lang = "en"> Metal Hammer's Trespass America Festival with Five Finger Death Punch, Battlecross, Emmure, Pop Evil, Trivium, and Killswitch Engage>.
