Guns N 'Roses is an American hard rock band from Los Angeles, California. Formed in 1985, it consists of singer Axl Rose, guitarists Slash and Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler.Today, the band is composed of three original members including Axl, Slash and Duff adding to these Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Melissa Reese and Frank Ferrer. The band has become in a few years one of the most popular hard rock bands, with more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, including 45 million in the United States.

The album Appetite for Destruction (1987) lists more than 30 million copies sold and remains one of the best-selling albums in history. From this album, the song Sweet Child O 'Mine reached the top spot of Billboard Hot 100. In 1991, the band released two albums simultaneously, Use Your Illusion I and II. That same year, the group began a marathon tour that will last more than two years. Beginning in 1996, following the departure of all the original members except Axl Rose, the group sees a large number of musicians in its ranks. In 2008, Chinese Democracy came out, which will have taken almost 15 years of preparation and a budget of about $ 13 million.

The group is ranked # 92 in the list of the greatest artists of all time according to Rolling Stone and is introduced to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 14, 2012, at which Axl Rose does not participate. In 2016, guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan return to the group, twenty years after their departure, for the tour Not in This Lifetime ... Tour which becomes the second having generated the most recipe in the history of the music.
