Halestorm is an American heavy metal band from York, Pennsylvania. The band is currently signed at Atlantic Records and made their self-titled debut in April 2009. The Strange Case of ... in 2012, whose first single, Love Bites (So Do I), won a Grammy Award in the category of best hard rock / metal song, February 10, 2013 >>>. Arejay and Lzzy, who are brother and sister, formed Halestorm in 1997, when they were 10 and 13 years old respectively. Halestorm is trained in York, Pennsylvania. In 2003, Joe Hottinger joins the group. In the beginning, Halestorm, the father of Lzzy and Arejay, Roger Hale, played bass before Josh Smith arrived in 2004. They managed to occupy three times the cover of Pennsylvania Musician .
The band won a contract at Atlantic Records on June 28, 2005. A live EP, One and Done , was made that year. The EP featured a live version of It's Not You and is no longer being edited. As a result of this EP, they begin a tour across the United States from January to March 2006 on the Sno-Core Tour with Seether, Shinedown, and Flyleaf. After that, the group leaves on the roads mid-July 2006 for the Equinox Tour with Shinedown, Trapt, Evans Blue, and Mercy Fall.
In September 2007, Halestorm appeared on the show The Tonight Show with Jay Leno . In 2009, Halestorm went on tour with Chevelle, Adelitas Way, and Shinedown. Their first real album is published April 28, 2009. James Michael also helps to write a song, What Were You Expecting .
