happysad is a Polish rock band created in 2001 in Skarżysko-Kamienna. His first album, "Wszystko jedno" was released in 2004 and was a great success.

Most often the style of Happysad is defined as a mix of rock, indie rock, reggae, guitar pop and punk rock. However, the band definitely stands out from punk rock. Singer-Jakub Kawalec said:
"We are not punk rockers. We identify with no
ideology- neither punk-rock nor punk (...) We're not a band
moralist who presents a way of thinking. "
