Heaven Shall Burn is a German melodic deathcore band from Saalfeld. Formed in 1996, the group includes singer Marcus Bischoff, guitarists Maik Weichert and Alexander Dietz, bassist Eric Bischoff and drummer Christian Bass. They are currently signed at Century Media. They have a total of eight studio albums, one of the last being, Veto (2013), which will reach the second place of the German rankings in 2013> .

Heaven Shall Burn is formed by guitarist Maik Weichert and drummer Matthias Voigt at the end of 1996 under the name of Consense>. After recording their first demo in early 1997, singer Marcus Bischoff and bassist Eric Bischoff join the group. Together, they perform at various concerts and festivals, leading to a contract with Deeds of Revolution Records. The EP In Battle There Is No Law is published in 1998 by Deeds of Revolution Records> followed by a split with Fall of Serenity in 1999. after, the second guitarist Patrick Schleitzer joins Heaven Shall Burn>.
After their split with Fall of Serenity, they sign to Lifeforce Records>. Lifeforce releases the first Heaven Shall Burn album, asunder , and their first collaboration with Caliban, entitled The Split Program , in 2000 >>>. Heaven Shall Burn then runs in Europe and South America. In 2002, their second album, Whatever It May Take , and a reissue of their EP In Battle There Is No Law , are published>. After the release of Whatever It May Take , Heaven Shall Burn begins another tour, this time in several countries like Greece, Iceland or UK. They also play in prestigious German festivals such as Party.San, With Full Force and Wacken Open Air>.
