Hopes Die Last is an Italian post-hardcore band from Rome. It mixes both vocal aggressiveness and melody, in a style close to the emo. Following the departure of the singer, Nick, after the release of Your Face Down Now, the band recruits a new one with a similar voice named Danielle.
A few days after its restructuring, the group announced on their blog its signature with the Italian label Wynona Records and at the same time publish a new song on their Myspace, and announce their new album, Six years home, August 4, 2009.
On January 6, 2017, Hopes Die Last announces its separation. The remaining members, with the exception of Luigi Magliocca, form a new group called ALPHAWOLVES.
The group was formed in 2004 in Ladispoli, near Rome, by teenage friends. The band performs live in Rome and, later, all over Italy. Hopes Die Last publishes Aim For Tomorrow in 2005, an EP that includes six songs. Aim for Tomorrow is a melodic / punk hardcore album with some screaming signs. Aim For Tomorrow involves the original band with the exception of Becko, who is replaced by Marco Mantovani on vocals, and Nicolò "Nick" on vocals and screaming.
