Horse the Band is an American electronicore band from Lake Forest, California. The band is best known for its metalcore style mixed with 8-bit elements.
Horse the Band was formed in 1998 in Lake Forest, California by Erik Engstrom and David Isen while studying at El Toro High School. The band made their own tours in the summer of 2002. In the summer of 2004, they performed the Horse the World Tour 2004, playing more than 85 concerts in 90 days in North America and Europe. The beginning of 2008 is attending a worldwide tour of Horse the Band across 40 countries.
On February 2, 2009, Horse the Band signed with Vagrant Records. They explain in an interview to have taken nine years to access the label.
