Hurts

lang = "en"> Hurts is a British pop and synthpop band from Manchester, England. It is composed of singer Theo Hutchcraft and synth player Adam Anderson.

Their first album titled Happiness was released on September 6, 2010 (November 15, 2010 in France)>. Singer Kylie Minogue is appearing in this album on the song Devotion. So far, four singles from this first opus have come out: Wonderful Life, Stay, Better Than Love and Sunday. Their second album, Exile, was released in 2013, their third album, Surrender, in 2015, and their latest album, Desire, in 2017.

Before forming Hurts in 2009, the two singers were part of a group called Bureau in 2006, renamed Daggers in 2007.

Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson meet in a Manchester nightclub in 2005. During this drunken evening, they get to know each other and talk about music, realizing that they have a lot in common. From then on, the two young men decide to form a group. For a few months, they exchanged music and songs via e-mails, before forming the band Bureau in March 2006. They then signed at the High Voltage Sounds label and made their first double single After Midnight / Dollhouse in November.
