Infected rain

Infected Rain is a Moldovan nu metal band from Chişinău.

The band is formed in 2008 by guitarist Vadim "Vidick" Ozhog, singer Elena "Lena" Kataraga and DJ Ivan < span class = "quote"> "Kapa" Kristioglo >>>. It begins on August 3, 2008 during a concert dedicated to the band Slayer. Later, Infected Rain plays in Crimea at the Red Alert Metal Festival. At the end of August of the same year, the first demo consisting of three songs (With Me, Parasite and No Idols) is recorded. The group also plays several concerts in Chişinău, and in Ukraine.

Infected Rain participates in festivals such as Metal Heads' Mission 2009, RockHausen 2008/2009, Fuckin'FuckFest 3, Big Up! Urban Fest 2009, where the band wins first place, and the Forest Kap 2009-2010. In the summer of 2009, EP 2009> is released, and is composed of six songs (Judgmental Trap, Panika, No More, Escape, Go Away, and Homeless). The combination of female screams, heavy riffs and electronic samples creates the individual style of Infected Rain. During the winter of 2010, the first clip for the song Judgmental Trap is filmed. After that, the band plays a number of concerts in Moldova and Romania.

On November 25, 2011 released the first album of the group, titled Asylum>, after which the group toured Romania in support of the album. In January 2012, the second video of the song At the Bottom of the Bottle is broadcast. In June of the same year, Infected Rain managed to perform on the same stage with giants such as Motley Crue and Dimmu Borgir. In the summer of 2012, Me Against You (who reached the rankings>) and Stop Waiting are published for download, followed by their respective clips. In autumn 2013, Infected Rain plays a number of concerts in Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Bulgaria (as the OST Festival>). On May 15, 2014 is released a new studio album, titled Embrace Eternity.
