Inme

Inme InMe , sometimes typed Inme or INME , is a British alternative rock band from Brentwood, Essex, England. Formed in 1996, the band has a total of six studio albums: Overgrown Eden (2003), White Butterfly (2005), Daydream Anonymous (2007), Herald Moth (2009), The Pride (2012), and Trilogy: Dawn (2015) ). They also have a live album, Caught: White Butterfly (2006), and a best-of, Phoenix: The Best of InMe>.

Originally, in 1996, the group was formed under the name Drowned>. The group members of this era were Dave McPherson as guitarist and singer, Joe Morgan as bassist and Simon Taylor as percussionist. They sign for the first time in 2001 with Music for Nations and then change their name to InMe to avoid confusion with Drowned, an American rock band.

Overgrown Eden was released on the Music for Nations label in January 2003 after several postponements of dates. It is ranked 15> in the UK Albums Chart> and first place in the UK Rock Albums Chart. Four singles are extracted from Overgrown Eden. They include Underdose, Firefly, Crushed Like Fruit and Neptune, the first of three being released before the album. Underdose is published in July 2002, and reaches the 66> place of the UK Singles Chart. It is followed by Firefly in September which reaches the 43> place of the ranking. Crushed Like Fruit appears in January 2003 at 25> Place>. Neptune is the last single of the album, published in April 2003, which reaches 46> place> and is accompanied by a clip with fans and filmed concerts.

Music for Nations files the balance sheet in 2004>. At this time, Overgrown Eden's rights are lost, and will be reissued in June 2006 when they are re-earned. InMe plays Overgrown Eden in its entirety on two separate dates in November 2010 in support of their best-of, Phoenix: The Best of InMe. Their concert in London is recorded and published at Graphite Records in 2012 accompanying their fifth album, The Pride.
