Jesse cook

Jesse Cook is a new flamenco guitarist born in 1964 in Paris to Canadian parents. He joined Toronto at the age of three.

At age 10, he was admitted to Toronto's Eli Kassner Academy. He continued his musical training at the Royal Conservatory, then at York University in Toronto, and at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

He begins to compose on command. He is writing a rumba and flamenco fusion piece for a Toronto television channel. The public reserves a real ovation that will lead him to produce his first album. According to his own confession, he turned to flamenco rhythms by discovering the music of the Gipsy Kings.

Like other guitarists of his style, he mixes jazz, Latin music and world music in his compositions. Jesse Cook is also known for the energy he gives off during his concerts. He lives in Toronto
