Joseph "Joe" Bonamassa , born May 8, 1977 in Utica, New York, is a singer and guitarist of American blues rock. He is the guitarist of Black Country Communion, a hard rock band also composed of Jason Bonham, Glenn Hughes and Derek Sherinian and guitarist of the band Rock Candy Funk Party, instrumental band Funk / Rock.

Joe Bonamassa started learning guitar at the age of 4. His father Len Bonamassa runs a music store in Utica, New York. He bathed from an early age in the midst of mythical guitars.
