Judas iscariot

Judas Iscariot is an American extreme metal band (one man band) from DeKalb, Illinois. His musical style is also characterized by black metal. He was trained in 1992 by Akhenaten, and abandoned in 2002.

Akhenaten played all the instruments (guitar, bass, drums) and used other musicians to give concerts, such as Lord Imperial bassist Krieg group or Kanwulf Nargaroth group. The label Red Streamsort the album Heaven in Flames in 1999, and contains minimalist sounds and blast beats with Darkthrone>. The album differs from the band's previous albums, and is heavily inspired by Burzum>, and draws on the keyboard. The music is "monotonous and deaf>" , and the riffs are melancholy>.

The EP Dethroned, Conquered and Forgotten is published in 2000, and recalls Transilvanian Hunger of Darkthrone>. Robert Müller vom Metal Hammer notably judges the minimalist melodies>. EP Midnight Frost (To Rest with Eternity) is released in 2003 and contains the Heidegger demo released in 1992>.

Six albums are in total recorded before the dissolution of Judas Iscariot, announced by Akhenaten in August 2002.
