Kadavar

Kadavar Kadavar is a German rock band from Berlin>. Formed in 2010 in Berlin, the group has a musical style inspired, among others, by Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Hawkwind and Led Zeppelin and is often described as retro as their dress code. In 2014, the group performed at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, at Hellfest in Clisson and at Desertfest in Antwerp.

In 2010, drummer Bartelt and guitarist Philipp "Mammut" Lippitz start playing together. They form the band after the arrival of bassist and singer Lindemann. Lindemann decides to play guitar, allowing Lippitz to play bass. Their first album, a CDR of two songs, is self-published August 28, 2011>.

On July 12, 2012, Kadavar's first album is released on This Charming Man Records / Tee Pee Records>.

The group collaborates with Aqua Nebula Oscillator for the release of the album White Ring in November 2012. Due to passport problems, the group can not filming outside the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas on March 15, 2013>. In Texas, the band is recording a few clips that will be used for the video of the song "Come Back Life" to be produced by Bartelt>.

In July 2013, Lippitz left the group and was replaced by Bouteloup, former member of the metal band The Oath. After several stage performances, Bouteloup is officially announced as a new member of the group>.

Their second album, Abra Kadavar , is published on April 12, 2013 at the Nuclear Blast> label, and reaches the 42> place of the German rankings>. In early 2014, Kadavar is shooting with the Wolfmother Retro Hard Rock Band. In July 2014, Wolfmother recorded some songs with Kadavar in the recording studio. On June 6, 2014, Kadavar released the live album Live in Antwerp.
