Kamelot

Kamelot is an American power metal band from Tampa, Florida. It was originally founded in 1991 by guitarist Thomas Youngblood and drummer Richard Warner. At the beginning of his career, the band signed a contract with the label Noise Records, and became known in full rebirth of melodic heavy metal in the mid-1990s.

In 1994, they signed a contract with Noise Records and their first album, Eternity , was released in August the following year, in 1995>. The press immediately sees in this album the sign of a promising start. In 1996 released the following album, Dominion , an album still more diverse and varied than their debut>. Then, in 1997, drummer Richard Warner and singer Mark Vanderbilt had to be replaced. Kamelot then finds more than mere substitutes in Casey Grillo and the former member of Conception, singer Roy Khan, who join the group during the production of the third album, Perilous Siege . The new line-up undertakes a tour of Europe in the autumn of the same year and returns to Wolfsburg Gate Studio only twelve months later to produce his fourth album, The Fourth Legacy .

The summer of 2000 leads the New Allegeance tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Greece and Spain, tour during which will be made the recordings for the Kamelot's first live album, The Expedition . Only a few months later, the group presents its fifth album, Karma, which soon brings Khan, Youngblood, Grillo and Barry to a new European tour.

"Epica" arrives in 2003, and combines all the strengths of previous productions with new ideas and majestic sounds. It is followed by a new headlining tour in Europe, Japan, Mexico and the United States, as well as several appearances at the top of festivals>.
