Khold is a Norwegian black metal band from Oslo. He formed in 2000 after the split of the Tulus group.

The group was formed in 2000 in Oslo> by Sarke (drums) and Gard (vocals, guitar). Both are from the Tulus group. They then recruit Rinn (guitar) and Eikind (bass). A demo is recorded, and Khold signs at the end of 2000 with the label Moonfog>.

Kold's first album, Masterpiss of Pain, was released in 2001. Later in the year, Khold toured Europe in support of the album. Khold's second album, Phantom, was released in 2002 at Satyr's Moonfog Productions label of the Satyricon group. That same year, Khold joined Satyricon on tour, and for six weeks in Europe the following year. At the end of 2003, Khold recorded his third album Mørke Gravers Kammer, which includes the song Død. The album is released in 2004 on the label Candlelight Records. The following year, the band goes on tour. The Phantom and Mørke gravers kammer albums are named for the Alarm Award.

In 2005, Khold recorded his fourth album, Krek, released Oct. 10 at Tabu Records. In 2006, Khold's business was put on hold indefinitely. Khold returns on June 9, 2008 with a new album, Hundre År Gammal.

After returning to the Wacken Open Air Festival in 2011, Khold plays for a few festivals annually.

In 2014, Khold released the album Til Endes to their new label, Peaceville Records.
