Kosheen is a British alternative rock band from Bristol, England. Formed in 1999, it is composed of Sian Evans, Markee Ledge and Darren Decoder. The group now has five studio albums to its credit: Resist in 2001, Kokopelli in 2003, Damage in 2007, Independence in 2012 and Loneliness in 2013.
Their first studio album, Resist , was released in September 2001 on Moksha Recordings / Sony BMG and entered eighth place in the UK album sales rankings. . Accompanied by singles Slip and Slide Suicide , lang = "en"> Hide U Catch , Hungry and Harder , the disc is also strongly supported during the Nokia Game 2002.
With more guitar riffs, darker lyrics and less drums, Kokopelli , the second album whose name includes a mythical Native American character, comes out in August 2003 on the same labels and took the seventh position in the sales ranking. The single All in My Head does as well. However, the disc is selling less well than its predecessor.
