Liquido is a German alternative rock band from Sinsheim and its surroundings. Formed in 1996, the band split, after five studio albums, in 2009.
Liquido was formed in 1996 by four friends Wolfgang Schrödl (vocals, guitar, piano), Wolfgang Maier (drums), Stefan Schulte-Holthaus (bass), and Tim Eiermann (vocals, guitar).
Their biggest hit is the song Narcotic, first played in 1996: it sold more than 700,000 copies in Europe>, and nearly 8 million copies worldwide when Virgin reissued in 1998 This title is also played for the entry of Girondins de Bordeaux players at the New Bordeaux stadium. Always in the field of sport, the melody of the song Narcotic is also a song of supporters, including HC Davos (ice hockey, Switzerland).
