Lower than atlantis

Lower Than Atlantis is a British independent and alternative rock band composed of four musicians and formed in 2007. Their first studio album, Far Q, is released in 2010.

Lower Than Atlantis is formed in 2007 while the members are still in high school. Guitarist Ben Sansom asks guitarist Mike Duce if he wants to form a band with his brother, Luke, who will sing. They are joined by bassist Richard Wilkinson and drummer Matt Britz>. Ben and Luke Sansom, and Britz are former members of Aboycalledhero>. At this time, they record Demo 2007. After a change of training> and the arrival of a new drummer, Josh Pickett, bassist Stephen Minter and Duce who becomes the singer>, they start working on a first EP, Bretton >. Duce learns by himself and sing and play the guitar during the release of Demo 2007>. Bretton is published by Small Town on October 18, 2008>.

In June 2009, the group toured with We Stare at Mirrors. On this tour, drummer Eddy Thrower meets Duce and Sansom. We Stare's bassist at Mirrors Declan Hart "believed that the Lower Than Atlantis were a bunch of drug addicts.Their reputation was only mental." The group is still undergoing a new training change>.

They record and release their new album, Far Q, with Daniel Lancaster (from the Proceed group) at Studio Glasseye in Hatfield, England. It's released in March 2010 at A Wolf at Your Door Records in the UK, Distort Entertainment in Canada, and Redfield Records for Europe> limited mediabook-CD and white vinyl formats. The band is now moving towards post-hardcore / melodic hardcore. They participated before a split at Redfield Records in February 2010 with the single Far Q alongside Grace.Will.Fall, Talk Radio Talk, and MNMTS.
