Marcel and his orchestra is a French group of festive rock, originally from Boulogne-sur-Mer in the Pas-de-Calais.
Originally from the Hauts-de-France region, Marcel and his orchestra is a festive rock band with punk and ska accents that mixes protest and political songs (Si ça rapport, Ramdam claims, Blasphème, Yellow Vests act MMMCDXVII ...) and festive texts (Stop your horsehair, My sister, The fat lady, Your goudale, my gastro ...). The band has on stage costumes and clothes in the spirit of the Dunkirk Carnival, which will be its hallmark throughout his career.
Very active at the dawn of the 2000s on the alternative rock scene, Marcel and his Orchestra has sold more than 400,000 albums and has performed over 1000 times on stage since its inception.
