Mindless self indulgence

Mindless Self Indulgence , often abbreviated MSI , is an American electropunk band from New York. Their music is a mix of hip-hop, punk rock, alternative rock, electronica, techno and industrial music. The band's name comes from an album by singer Jimmy Urine and his brother recorded in 1995.

Mindless Self Indulgence was formed in 1997 when Jimmy Urine was joined by Steve and his brother Markus Euringer (later replaced by Vanessa Y.T and then LynZ), both guitarists, and drummer Kitty. They have had four studio albums, two EPs, a live album, and a live DVD.

In January 2009, the group made the front page of Kerrang magazine!

In December 2010, they released a comic entitled Adventures Into Mindless Self Indulgence telling various stories during their tours and important moments in the life of the group. On October 30, 2011, the group announces the project of a tour in the United States from March 3, 2012 to April 1, 2012>.
