Negative is a Finnish rock band formed in 1997 in Tampere, originally by Jonne Aaron Liimatainen and Jay Slammer, taking Sir Christus from the band Bloodpit (who will leave Negative in January 2008). Metal group with influences very 1980s, they are well known in their native country and compete with other groups such as HIM or The 69 Eyes. They are also famous in Scandinavia, Japan and Russia. Today there are five of them:

Jonne Aaron Liimitainen singing,

Larry Love on the guitar,

Antti Anatomy on bass,

Jay Slammer on the drums

and Mr. Snack on the keyboard.

The success came directly with their first single The Moment of Our Love and the album War of Love, soon gold records in Finland. Ville Laihiala, singer of Sentenced appears on Until Your Mine, song extracted from their last album (Karma Killer). They took over My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue) Neil Young. Their second album, Sweet And Deceitful, was released in 2004, two years after Anerotic's fate, and then came Karma Killer's fourth album, released in 2008 in many countries including France.
