Nightwish

Nightwish Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic metal band from Kitee in the North Karelia region. Formed in 1996, he is considered one of the representatives of the genre and one of the groups responsible for the popularity of symphonic metal in the late 1990s. Although the band became famous in their native country when they released their first single, The Carpenter (1997), its international renown only began 'with the release of the albums Oceanborn (1998) and Wishmaster (2000). In October 2005, the members of the group decided to separate from their singer, Tarja Turunen, who was officially replaced, in May 2007, by the Swedish singer of the group Alyson Avenue: Anette Olzon. The latter leaves the band in October 2012>, after recording the album Dark Passion Play , released in 2007> as well as < span class = "lang-en" lang = "en"> Imaginaerum , released in 2011>.

Singer Floor Jansen, of the Dutch band ReVamp, ex-singer of After Forever, replaces Anette Olzon for the end of the Imaginaerum tour. In October 2013, group members announced that Floor Jansen and Troy Donockley became permanent members. The album Endless Forms Most Beautiful is out in March 2015.

Jukka Nevalainen permanently leaves his drummer position in July 2019 to limit himself to the administrative activity of the group>. Already in 2014, Jukka Nevalainen takes a break for medical reasons and is replaced by Kai Hahto.
