No One Is Innocent , also stylized , is a french rock and heavy metal band from Paris, Ile-de-France.
Founded in 1993, No one is innocent takes shape in the Ornano rehearsal studios, Porte de Clignancourt in Paris, the band gets its name from a single of the Sex Pistols released in 1978. The recording of a mini-CD 4 tracks and the participation in Transmusicales Rennes in December 1993 allows them to get in touch with different labels, these meetings lead to the signing with Major Island Records.
The group is revealed in 1994 with their first album No One Is Innocent>. In the early 1990s, No One is Innocent with Lofofora, Oneyed Jack or Silmarils, one of the most prominent bands in the French rap-metal scene, emerging in a musical landscape marked by the success of bands such as Rage Against the machine>. Worn by the single "La Peau" which benefits from a program supported by radio-youth like Fun Radio or Skyrock, the first album of the group is certified gold disc (100,000 sales)>. Of Armenian origin, the singer, Kemar, signs the song Another Land, denouncing the genocide of the Armenians.
Shortly after, they released the maxi four Antipolitic titles in collaboration with rap groups EJM and Shy and without complex.
