Orlando Poleo is a Venezuelan percussionist.

Born in Caracas, Poleo began his musical apprenticeship with Professor Julio Mendez. He is quickly noticed and becomes one of the best percussionists of his generation.

He then studied Afro-Venezuelan percussion with the no less famous professor Miguel Urbina and then accompanied many national artists such as Aldemaro Romero, Pete "El Conde" Rodriguez, Maria Tereza Chacin, the Venezuelan Symphony Orchestra, etc. He also has the opportunity to work with David Valentin, Daniel Santos, Jose Mangual Jr, and Ismael Rivera Jr.
