Reik is a trio of young Mexican pop musicians from the city of Mexicali. The group was formed in mid 2003 at the initiative of producer Abelardo Vázquez.
Reik was nominated for the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards Latinoamérica and the Latin Grammy Awards in 2005. On November 14, 2006, the band launched a new album called Secuencia.
Their third album Un Día Mas was engraved in Argentina, with the "Cachorro" Lopez as producer. This album is different from the other two. It shows the positive of the first disc and the maturity of the second. It is from this album that comes the first single Inolvidable, which became a hit.
Recently, they released a new single with the song Fui.
