Rise against

Rise Against is an American punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois. Formed in 1999, the band is composed of four members: Tim McIlrath (vocals, as well as secondary guitar for some songs), Joe Principe (bass), Brandon Barnes (drums) and Zach Blair (lead guitar).

Rise Against has a total of seven studio albums, a compilation of unpublished songs, four EPs, a demo album and two DVDs. They have enjoyed worldwide success with the release of the 2004 Siren Song of the Counter Culture albums and The Sufferer and the Witness in 2006, which include Blood To Bleed, Give It All, Ready to Fall and Prayer of the Refugee.

May 9, 2017 released the album Wolves, the latest in the group. It contains many elements approaching punk rock, with words denouncing American politics and global terrorism.

Rise Against was formed in 1999 by the meeting of members of 88 Fingers Louie and Baxter groups, following the dissolution of 88 Fingers Louie. Although promising, the group separates because of internal differences.
