Romeo santos

Anthony "Romeo" Santos (born July 21, 1981 in the Bronx, New York) is an American singer-songwriter of Dominican descent who was the singer and leader of the bachata group Aventura , before starting a solo career.

His mother is Puerto Rican and his father is Dominican. He composes and interprets songs in Anglo-American and Spanish.

In the mid-1990s, with his cousin Henry and two friends, he formed a band called Los Tinellers (referred to the pronunciation of the word Anglo-Saxon, teenagers, which means teenagers). In the late 1990s, Los Tinellers was renamed Aventura.

In April 2011, Romeo announced that he was leaving the Aventura group to pursue a solo career.

On May 9, 2011, Romeo released his first single You, from his debut album Formula, Flight I.
