Sex machineguns

Sex Machineguns , also stylized SEX MACHINEGUNS , is a Japanese heavy metal band. The band's name is inspired by the punk group Sex Pistols. Their type of metal is a kind of heavy metal of the 1980s. The group cultivates an image of shock rockers close to visual kei.

After a period of stand-by between 2006 and 2007, due to the departure of all members except Anchang, the latter organizes auditions in summer 2007 to find new musicians. Ryôtatsu and Ken'ichi are engaged respectively on guitar and drums. Shingo ☆ is first of all a session musician but will be part of the band as an official member on the last date of the Zenkoku Taikai Spring 2008 tour.

Sex Machineguns was formed in 1989 as an independent band, spinning in several local clubs. Their group name is intentionally inspired by Sex Pistols; according to them, machineguns are more effective than pistols. They are quickly becoming popular in Japan and expanding their fan base. They then release their first video and live album in the spring of 1997. In 1998 Sex Machineguns made their commercial debut with their single from Toshiba-EMI Records: Hanabi-la Daikaiten. The single sells quickly, and the band decides to start their first national tour. Local magazines are interested in the group, and Hanabi-la Daikaiten brings them up to the top. In September the same year, they released their first studio album, Sex Machineguns, which reached the top of the music rankings. They then play 62 concerts.

In 2001, the band released their third album, Barbe-Q ☆ Michael. In February 2005, the group collaborates with Square Enix; after the release of their Heavy Metal Thunder album, the band is announced for a "live secret" at the Shibuya O-West concert>.
