Spice Girls is an English pop band formed in 1994 in London. This girl group is originally composed of five singers and dancers: Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton.
Managed by Simon Fuller, the five girls easily won a first contract with Virgin Records in 1995 and recorded their first single, Wannabe, which was released the following year >>>. In May 1998, Geri Halliwell left the group as a result of disputes with other members. The band then continues to four and publishes its third album Forever in 2000, sold more than 4 million copies. In 2001, the remaining members decided to take a break to focus on their respective solo careers.
