Spiderbait is an Australian rock band established in 1991 in Finley, a small town south of New South Wales. The band has already released seven albums, two of which were in the Australian top ten and a third placed in the top 40. Their song Buy Me a Pony was No. 1 in the Triple J Hottest 100 (in) in 1996, but it is in 2001 that Spiderbait will be successful with their title Black Betty (a recovery of the Ram Jam tube). The song Black Betty appears in the video game Need For Speed Underground 2 and at the beginning of the movie The Condemned (movie, 2007), as well as Glockenpop which appears in the video game LittleBigPlanet. It can also be heard in Death Race 2 and Miss FBI: Divinely Armed
