Starsailor is an English rock band formed in 2000 in Chorley, Lancashire. In 2005, the band had recorded three albums and ten of their singles had held the Top 40 record sales in the UK. The band became known in France with the song Four to the Floor in 2004.
They chose the name of their band in tribute to Tim Buckley's album Starsailor (although they do not play the same kind of music)
