Tanita tikaram

Tanita Tikaram (born August 12, 1969) is a pop, rock, folk, folk rock, and British country singer known for Twist in My Sobriety and Good Tradition, from her first album, Ancient Heart. This first album allowed him to be known all over the world.

Tanita Tikaram was born in Münster, Germany, with her mother Fatimah Rohani from Malaysia and her father Pramod Tikaram, Indo-Fijian, an officer of the British Army.

Her father's military career spanned her childhood in Germany before the family moved to Basingstoke, England, when she was in her early teens. She is the sister of actor Ramon Tikaram.

Tanita Tikaram is openly lesbian. Since 2012, she is in a relationship with artist Natacha Horn.
