Jimmie Vaughan , born James Lawrence Vaughan on March 20, 1951 in Dallas, Texas, is a guitarist and singer of American blues rock. He is the older brother of guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Jimmie Vaughan's playing is heavily influenced by the three "King" blues: BB King, Albert King and especially the latter, Freddie King who gave him personal advice.
From 1976 to 1989, Jimmie Vaughan was a member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds.
