The Zombies is an English pop rock band from the city of St Albans, formed in 1961 and composed of Rod Argent (organ and composition), Colin Blunstone (vocals), Chris White (bass and composition ), Paul Atkinson (guitar) and Hugh Grundy (drums).
In 1963, they took part in a local contest from which they emerged as winners, which enabled them to record, as early as 1964, for the Decca record label.
