Third eye blind

Third Eye Blind (often abbreviated 3EB) is an American alternative rock band, originally from San Francisco, California. the duo consisting of Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the group's first deal with Major Elektra Records in 1996, the best that can be done by an unsigned band at that time. The group released its debut album, Third Eye Blind, in 1997, starring Jenkins (vocals, rhythm guitar), Cadogan (lead guitar), Arion Salazar (bass), and Brad Hargreaves (drums).

The group found success in the late 1990s, thanks to Third Eye Blind and Blue, which will be certified six times and once platinum in the United States, respectively.

Third Eye Blind recorded its first demo in 1993. It was during the release of their second model in 1995 that the group attracted the attention of major labels, including that of Clive Davis, who invited the group to make a demonstration for Arista Records in New York

In April 1996, Jenkins challenged Dave Massey, executive of Epic Records to take the group to trial. They then play a concert for Oasis at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium. The band will be invited again to play> and will be paid double by the concert promoter>. Jenkins will produce the Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) cover of the Braids, which will attract the interest of the labels.
